The BEATLES project participated in the FOOD 2030 Networks conference on Transformative Food System Innovation, from March 5th to 7th, 2024, in Brussels. The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss and promote innovation in the food system.
During the conference, BEATLES co-organised two sessions. The first one, co-organised with the sister projects ENFASYS and VISIONARY, focused on ‘ensuring a just transition that is fair for both farmers and consumers.
The second session, titled “Barriers and lock-ins for transformative innovation and how to overcome them” was co-organised with ENFASYS, VISIONARY, COCOREADO, FOODCOST, CLEVERFOOD, FoodCLIC,and FoodPathS projects. This session presented the main findings of the BEATLES project, This session presented the main findings of the BEATLES project, highlighting the obstacles to innovation in the food sector and proposing actionable solutions to overcome these challenges.
