The BEATLES project has been actively presented and promoted at a range of events across Slovenia, reaching diverse audiences, from teachers and researchers to farmers, policymakers, and the general public.
The promotion began at the Meeting of Eco School Coordinators in Čatež on 22 August 2025, where ZPS magazine featuring an article about the BEATLES project was distributed to around 300 participants (teachers and professors).
At the AGRA Fair in Gornja Radgona on 25 August 2025, Jasmina Bevc Bahar presented the project’s key messages during a round table on Agriculture Vision 2040. The discussion gathered around 50 participants, including farmers, the Minister for Agriculture Mateja Čalušić, and other key stakeholders, and received media coverage.
The project was also visible at the Festival Lupa on 3 September 2025 in Ljubljana, where another 250 copies of the ZPS magazine with the BEATLES article were distributed to visitors at Prešeren Square.
The following day, 4 September 2025, the BEATLES poster was displayed at the Simčič Symposium 2025 in Ljubljana, attended by around 50 participants (professors and stakeholders).
On 12 September 2025, the BEUC Food Team Meeting in Ljubljana featured a presentation of the BEATLES project through a PowerPoint overview to 21 participants, highlighting Slovenia’s engagement in the European food system transformation discussions.
Further public outreach was achieved on 15 September 2025, when an article about the BEATLES project appeared in Informator, a free newspaper with a circulation of 120,000 copies.
An informal meeting followed on 18 September 2025, bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, ZPS, Umanotera, and an animal welfare organization to discuss project-relevant themes and future cooperation.
Finally, the BEATLES project was presented at the workshop “Our Agriculture and Food in 2040”, held from 29–30 September 2025, continuing the conversation on sustainable and resilient food systems in Slovenia.
These activities significantly strengthened the visibility of the BEATLES project in Slovenia and supported ongoing dialogue on the future of agriculture, food systems, and sustainability at national and European levels.
