BEATLES FINAL EVENT [2 JUNE 2026]

How can behavioural insights help shape more effective policies for sustainable and Climate-Smart Agriculture? After four years of research and collaboration, the BEATLES Horizon Europe project invites you to its final event on 2 June 2026, from 9:00 to 13:00 CEST, at Fondation Universitaire in Brussels, Belgium, to share its findings and explore new perspectives.

The event will present the project’s main results, policy recommendations, and practical tools, while fostering a broader discussion on the role of behavioural approaches in the future of EU agri-food, climate and digitalisation policies, with particular attention to  the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2028–2034).

It will also offer an opportunity for dialogue and networking among policymakers, representatives of EU institutions and advisory bodies, researchers, practitioners, and intermediaries, including advisory services, farmer organisations, NGOs, cooperatives, value-chain actors, and other EU projects working towards more sustainable food systems.

Objectives

  • Present and discuss BEATLES’ main results and policy implications.
  • Share key outputs, including policy recommendations, toolkit, and other relevant findings.
  • Identify opportunities to scale up behavioural approaches through the CAP and other relevant EU instruments in 2028-2034.
  • Connect evidence and policy by bringing together researchers, practitioners, and EU institutions to explore the practical uptake of behavioural insights.
  • Facilitate exchange and networking among stakeholders working on sustainable food systems, behavioural change, and policy design.
