On September 21st, 2023, the sister projects AgroBridges, Cocoreado, Coach, and BEATLES met in Brussels to dig deeper into the work they have been doing to improve food systems and value chains and how they can continue this in the future.
The event entitled “Improving Food Systems and Value Chains” was organised by AgroBridges project.

Specifically, he focused the recommendations based on the main findings of the research outputs by way of a systematic mapping on existing “lock-ins” and “levers” affecting the adoption of climate-smart agriculture (CSA) in the European Union. For this research exercise, he carried out a systematic mapping of 100 pieces of published literature aims to identify the role of the EU Common Agricultural Policy affecting the introduction of CSA and how this influences behavioural shifts towards sustainable food systems.
Finally, he announced a report on The road to the post 2027 Common Agricultural Policy just published on the AEIDL’s website that includes a concise timeline of the steps ahead for the post-2027 CAP, and what are the opportunities to best influence the shaping of the future CAP.
