BEATLES’ webinar: Turning CAP Policy into CSA Action

The BEATLES project warmly invites policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and all agri-food stakeholders to join its upcoming online webinar, “Turning CAP Policy into CSA Action,” taking place on 17 March 2026, from 09:00 to 11:00 (CET). The event is organised by project partner Q-PLAN International.

This timely webinar will explore how forthcoming EU policy and funding reforms can more effectively support Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA). By linking strategic financing, implementation mechanisms, and performance tools across the full policy cycle, the session will highlight practical pathways for turning Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) ambitions into tangible CSA action on the ground.

Participants will gain valuable insights from AEIDL, which leads the BEATLES work package on Policy Recommendations. The discussion will cover:

  • The implications of the upcoming EU Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034
  • Key findings from the BEATLES project regarding CAP Strategic Plans
  • Opportunities to strengthen performance and data frameworks to better deliver CSA outcomes

In addition, the synergy project PRUDENT will present its Toolbox, showcasing it as a practical instrument to help address regulatory gaps under the CAP 2028–2034 framework.

The webinar offers a valuable opportunity for policymakers, practitioners, researchers, civil society representatives, farmers, and other stakeholders to exchange perspectives and explore how EU agricultural policy, funding, and implementation tools can accelerate the transition toward climate-smart farming systems.
