BEATLES’ webinar & workshop: “Business Models for Climate Smart Agriculture.”

The BEATLES project invites stakeholders, researchers, and practitioners to an engaging webinar and workshop on “Business Models for Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA).”

Organised by Q-PLAN International and SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS, the event will take place on Thursday, 4th  of December, from 09:00 to 11:00 (CET), and will be hosted online.

During the event, three speakers from Wageningen University and Research, a partner of the BEATLES project, will  share insights on key aspects of fair and climate-smart value chains:

  • Katja Logatcheva will discuss fairness in CSA value chains and share the lessons learned from BEATLES use cases.
  • Michiel van Galen will present value propositions in EU supply chains and their connection to fairness.
  • Christopher Jr. Galgo will outline approaches for designing and developing fair business models in  support of climate-smart agriculture.

We are also pleased to welcome Ioanna Kalyva from GAIA EPICHEIREIN, representing our sister project Enfasys, who will provide insights on business models developed within Enfasys.

Following the webinar, a workshop session will take place offering an opportunity for technical experts and stakeholders to engage in dynamic discussions about business models in the context of CSA.
