Second EU multi-actor working group workshop

13 January 2025 – 10.00 am – 1 pm (CET) – Online

BEATLES EU multi-actor working group is a pan-European group driving Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) initiatives, bridging science, society, and policy across Europe.

AEIDL (European Association for Innovation in Local Development) leads the work package on transition through policy recommendations and tools and coordinates this EU group.

On the back of the Political Guidelines for the next European Commission 2024-2029, the final report of the Strategic Dialogue for the Future of Agriculture and the upcoming Vision for Agriculture and Food, this second EU multi-actor working group workshop aims to co-design solutions and EU policy recommendations to expand Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) towards 2030 and 2040.

Through a collaborative policy hackathon methodology, participants will work in expert pairs to address a series of challenge statements, brainstorming and co-developing innovative solutions that enhance EU policy alignment with CSA goals while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

To explore the detailed schedule of the event, please refer to the agenda here.

For the agenda point of Participant insights, a group of approximately 20 participants will be selected, allowing for 10 pairs to work simultaneously.
